Falcons injury report: team remains healthy on Wednesday

We’re days away from the Atlanta Falcons’ first road game of the season, as they travel to Florida and face the defending Super Bowl Buccaneers Tampa Bay champions. With the squad back to training on Wednesday, we got a first glimpse of their health as we get closer to Sunday’s game.

You can expect to see the training reports here every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, except when the Falcons play Thursday night or have a week off.

Wednesday’s official training report:

If you are wondering if I forgot to add the names, I didn’t. No one appeared on the team’s injury report on Wednesday. That’s good considering they’ll need everyone after the Eagles game, where unfortunately they were also pretty healthy and failed to stay in the game. Notable news, however, is that linebacker Brandon Copeland appears to have recovered from his injury last week and is back to good health. Copeland was cut by the team ahead of the Eagles game and has since been re-signed, and he will have a role this Sunday.

Looking at the Buccaneers’ first official training report, a few names popped up. Linebacker Shaq Barrett (back), wide receiver Antonio Brown (knee) and safety Jordan Whitehead (hamstrings) practiced in full on Wednesday, while linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul (hand) was limited.

We will continue to monitor the Falcons and Buccaneers daily injury reports ahead of Sunday’s game.
